What is Starlight Express about? Packed full of races and fierce competition, Starlight Express is an exhilarating roller-skating musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber that tells the story of a child’s train set that comes to life, with trains competing to be the fastest. London’s Victoria Palace Theatre is a Grade II listed building which has been home to many large scale productions, including the popular musicals Billy Elliot, Annie, Fame, The Buddy Holly Story and most recently Hamilton.
